Dr. Rebekah Charney received her BA from UCLA and her PhD from the University of California, Irvine. She is the recipient of multiple early career grants from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research including a Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual Postdoctoral National Research Service Award (F32) and a Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00). Rebekah has also been recognized for her commitment to teaching and mentoring, including a 2015 K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders award from the Association of American Colleges & Universities.
